# NODIKA Help > NODIKA arranges emergency services in real time – customers order online, technicians accept via app. How it works for customers, technicians, partners and affiliates. Stand / Date: 2026-10-07 · Sprache / Language: en > This page was machine-translated from German. In case of doubt, the German version applies: https://docs.nodika.de/ --- # How NODIKA works https://docs.nodika.de/en/ NODIKA is a booking platform for emergency services. Anyone who needs help right now – for example because the door has slammed shut or the car won't start – orders a technician nearby on nodika.de in just a few steps. The technician receives the request instantly in their app, accepts it, and the customer follows live when they will arrive. This help explains how NODIKA works from the perspective of the four roles. It is written for people – and in a way that lets search engines and AI assistants answer questions about NODIKA correctly as well. ## The four roles | Role | Who that is | What they do on NODIKA | |---|---|---| | **Customer** | Anyone who needs an emergency service | Orders without registering, chooses a technician, follows the job live, pays on site | | **Technician** | Skilled worker who belongs to a partner business | Goes online in the app, accepts jobs, sets the status, chats with the customer | | **Partner** | Trade business (e.g. locksmith, breakdown service) | Sets up technicians and prices, sees jobs and billing, creates referral links | | **Affiliate** | Referrer without their own technicians | Brings customers to NODIKA via referral links and receives a commission for it | All technicians on NODIKA belong to a partner business. A sole trader can register as a partner and activate themselves as a technician. ## Which services are available? NODIKA currently arranges two categories: - **Locksmith** – door opening (slammed shut or locked), broken key, vehicle unlocking, bicycle lock opening, safe opening - **Jump-start for a car** – petrol and diesel cars, diesel trucks Availability depends on which technicians nearby are currently online. The current focus is on Berlin and the surrounding area; partner businesses from all over Germany can register. ## How does a job work? Every job goes through the same stages: 1. **Waiting for technician** – The customer has placed an order; the chosen technician has 45 seconds to respond. 2. **Accepted** – The technician has agreed. The customer sees their name, photo and estimated arrival. 3. **En route** – The technician has set off. Their position can be seen live on the map. 4. **Arrived** – The technician is on site. 5. **Completed** – The work is done, the customer confirms the payment. In addition, there are two termination states: **Cancelled** (by the customer or the technician) and **Expired** (the technician did not respond within the 45 seconds – the customer can then immediately choose another one). ## What makes NODIKA special - **Price before booking.** The customer sees the service price and travel costs for each technician before ordering. There are no surprises on site. - **Live tracking.** Just like with a taxi app, the customer sees where the technician is right now and when they will arrive. - **No phone call needed.** Ordering is completely online – but with chat and a call button in case contact is needed after all. - **Partners stay in control.** Businesses set their own prices, manage their technicians themselves and can use referral links to route their own customers preferentially to their own people. ## Help by role - [Customer – Order and track an emergency service](kunde.html) - [Technician – Working with the app](monteur.html) - [Partner – Manage business, technicians and billing](partner.html) - [Affiliate – Earn commission with referral links](affiliate.html) - [Frequently asked questions for all roles](faq.html) ## Important addresses | What | Address | |---|---| | Order an emergency service | [www.nodika.de](https://www.nodika.de) | | Become a partner | [www.nodika.de/partner-werden](https://www.nodika.de/partner-werden) | | Partner and affiliate login | [www.nodika.de/login](https://www.nodika.de/login) | | Technician login | [www.nodika.de/monteur/login](https://www.nodika.de/monteur/login) | | Become an affiliate | [www.nodika.de/affiliate/info](https://www.nodika.de/affiliate/info) | | Partner directory | [www.nodika.de/verzeichnis](https://www.nodika.de/verzeichnis) | --- # Help for customers – Order and track an emergency service https://docs.nodika.de/en/kunde.html Do you need help right now – door shut, key broken, car won't start? On NODIKA you order a technician near you in just a few steps. You don't need an account and you don't have to call. ## Order an emergency service in 4 steps ### Step 1: Choose address and service Open [www.nodika.de](https://www.nodika.de) or the NODIKA order form on a partner business's website. 1. Enter your address. Suggestions appear after three letters. Alternatively, tap **Use current location** – your browser or phone will then determine your location via GPS. 2. Choose the service, for example *Door locked* or *Gasoline - Jump-starting a Car*. The chosen service is marked as "Selected". 3. Tap **Continue to technician selection**. The button only becomes active once address and service have been chosen. ### Step 2: Select technician NODIKA shows all technicians who are currently online and near you – sorted by distance. For each technician you see: | Information | Meaning | |---|---| | Photo, name, company | Who is coming and which business they belong to | | Distance in km | How far away from you the technician is right now | | approx. arrival in minutes | Estimated travel time | | "Online" or "1 job ahead of you" | Free – or still busy with another job, but accepting more | | Service price + travel | Base price of the service plus travel costs (kilometres × the business's price per kilometre) | | **Total price** | The amount you pay at the end | Some services have **Additional options** – for example a new lock cylinder including three keys for a locked door. These are preselected because they are usually needed, but you can deselect them (for example if you have your own cylinder). The total price adjusts immediately. Some additional options have a price range (e.g. €30–60) because the exact price depends on the model. Tap the technician you want and then **Continue to customer data**. ### Step 3: Enter contact details Only **first name, last name and phone number** are required. The technician needs the phone number to reach you on site. With **Order now** your request goes to the chosen technician. You do **not create an account** in the process. The job runs as a guest order. ### Step 4: Waiting for the response (45 seconds) The technician has **45 seconds** to accept your request. You see a countdown that changes from blue to yellow to red. - **If they accept**, you are automatically forwarded to live tracking. - **If they decline or don't respond**, you return to technician selection. That technician is then marked as "Declined / Unavailable", and you simply choose the next one. ## Live tracking of your job As soon as the technician has accepted, you see the job page. It remains available at the same address – so you can close the browser tab and come back later. ### What you see - **Status banner** at the top: *Accepted* (green, with name and arrival time), *En route* (blue), *Arrived* (purple), *Completed* (grey) or *Cancelled* (red, with reason). - **Map**: A red marker is your location, a blue marker the technician's live position. It updates automatically. - **Progress bar**: Pending → Accepted → En route → Arrived → Done. - **Order details**: service, address, total price with breakdown, time of order and acceptance, estimated arrival. If the technician has several jobs, you also see their planned route. - **Technician card** with photo, name, company and a **Call** button. ### Chat with the technician While the job is running (accepted, en route or arrived), you can write to the technician directly – for example "Doorbell is broken, please call" or "Back entrance". Your messages appear on the right, the technician's on the left. Tap **Enable notifications** so that your browser informs you of new messages with a sound and a notification – even when the tab is in the background. ## Cancel a job As long as the job has not yet been completed, you will find the **Cancel job** button on the job page. Choose a reason from the list or enter your own under "Other reason", and confirm. **If the technician cancels** (for example because of a breakdown), you see a message and are automatically taken back to technician selection after a few seconds to choose another technician. You don't have to enter anything again. ## Paying Payment is currently made **in cash on site**. After the work is completed, you see the notice **Payment requested** with the amount on the job page. Tap **Confirm payment** as soon as you have paid. "Payment completed – thank you!" then appears. The amount is the total price you already saw when ordering. If other items actually arise on site (for example a different cylinder than the preselected one), the technician discusses this with you before starting work. ## Job statuses at a glance | Status | What it means | |---|---| | Waiting for technician | Your request is running; the technician has 45 seconds to respond | | Accepted | The technician has agreed and is getting ready | | En route | The technician is driving to you, position live on the map | | Arrived | The technician is on site | | Completed | The work is done, payment is requested | | Cancelled | The job was cancelled by you or the technician | | Expired | The technician did not respond within 45 seconds – please choose another one | ## Frequently asked questions from customers **Do I have to register?** No. For an order we only need your address, name and phone number. **How quickly will someone come?** That depends on how far away the nearest available technician is. You see the estimated arrival time already during selection – and live afterwards. **Can I see the price beforehand?** Yes. Service price, travel and additional options are shown for every technician before you order. NODIKA adds nothing on top for end customers. **Will my door be damaged when it is opened?** A door that has slammed shut but is not locked is usually opened by the locksmith without drilling. If the door is locked, the lock cylinder usually has to be drilled out and replaced – the door itself remains undamaged. That is why a new cylinder is preselected as an additional option for "Door locked". **What if no technician is shown?** Then nobody near you is online at the moment. Try again in a few minutes or check whether the address was recognised correctly. **Can I also pay by card?** Payment is currently in cash. Ask the technician in the chat whether they also accept card payment – some businesses carry a card terminal. **I closed the job page – how do I get back?** The address of the job page is in your browser history. Alternatively, the technician will call you on the number you provided. --- # Help for technicians – Working with the NODIKA app https://docs.nodika.de/en/monteur.html As a technician, you receive jobs from customers near you directly on your phone. You go online when you're ready, accept requests with a single tap and guide the customer through the job using the status. This page explains everything you need day to day. ## Access to the app You have two options – both show the same interface: - **NODIKA Technician app** for Android and iOS (from the Play Store or App Store). The app also provides push notifications and background location – it's the better choice for everyday use. - **In the browser** at [www.nodika.de/monteur/login](https://www.nodika.de/monteur/login). **Your login details** (email and password) are provided by your partner business. You cannot register yourself – contact your business if you don't have access yet or have forgotten your password. The partner can resend your login details at any time. You change your password yourself in the settings (see below). ## The dashboard After logging in, you land on the dashboard. At the top you see your business's logo, your name and whether the connection to the server is up (**Connected** / **Disconnected**). At the top right, the menu icon (⋮) opens the settings. In the middle is the large round **Online/Offline button** – the heart of the app. ## Online and Offline | State | Colour | What happens | |---|---|---| | **Online** | Green | You receive jobs. Your position is sent to NODIKA regularly so that customers nearby can see you. | | **Offline** | Grey | You don't receive any requests, and no location is sent. | The first time you go online, your phone asks for **location permission** – please allow it, otherwise customers can't find you. In the app, it's best to choose "Allow all the time" so that location tracking also works when the screen is locked. **Important:** You stay online until you set yourself offline – even if the network drops briefly or the app is running in the background. So at the end of your working day, deliberately tap Offline. ## A job comes in: the alarm When a customer selects you, a **red full-screen alarm** appears immediately – with a looping ringtone and, if the app is in the background, a push notification. You see: - the **service** (e.g. Door locked), - the customer's **address**, - the **customer name**, - the **distance** in kilometres, - the **price** the customer pays, - a **45-second countdown**. Two buttons: **Accept** or **Decline**. If you decline or the time runs out, the customer is notified immediately and can choose another technician. You won't be penalised for this – but frequently not responding will be noticed by your business. Did you have the app closed when an alarm came in? The next time you open it, the app checks whether an open request is still waiting for you and shows it if the 45 seconds are still running. ## After accepting: setting the status When you accept, the alarm turns green. Now you guide the customer through the job by setting the status step by step: | You are … | Tap … | The customer sees … | |---|---|---| | Ready to go | **Start driving** | "Technician is on the way" + your live position | | At the customer's | **Arrived** | "Technician is on site" | | Done | **Complete** | "Completed" + the payment request | After completion, the view closes automatically after a short time and you're ready for the next job again. In the green window you will also find **Go to job** (all details on a separate page) and **Cancel job**. **Set the status honestly and promptly.** The customer relies on it – for them, "En route" means that you have really set off. ## Two jobs at once: the queue You can have up to **two jobs** at the same time. If a second job comes in while the first is still running, you can accept it – it then goes into the **queue**: - The alarm for the second job turns orange instead of green and shows "In queue". - At the top of the dashboard, a yellow bar **Active jobs (2/2)** appears with both jobs. The first is highlighted in bold ("Work on this now"), the second is listed as "Up next". - The customer of the second job sees "1 job ahead of you" and a correspondingly longer arrival time. With two active jobs, you are no longer offered to customers until one is completed. So a third alarm won't come. ## Chat with the customer There is a chat box in the green window. Here the customer can write to you ("Please use the back entrance") and you to them ("I'll be there in 5 minutes"). For new messages you hear a sound and get a notification. Your messages are on the right, the customer's on the left. You can also reach the customer at any time using the **Call** button in the order details. ## Cancel a job Sometimes there's no other way – breakdown, accident, emergency. In the green window, tap **Cancel job**, choose a reason from the list (or "Other reason" with free text) and confirm. The customer is informed immediately and can choose another technician. Only cancel if it's really necessary – every cancellation is annoying for a customer in an emergency and is shown to your business. **If the customer cancels** while you have the job open, you see the message "The customer has cancelled the job". Tap OK and you're free again. ## Settings (menu at the top right) Tap the ⋮ icon to open the menu: | Menu item | What you do there | |---|---| | **Orders** | Your job history with all details | | **Internal jobs** | Jobs your business has assigned to you directly (see below). A red badge shows how many are open. | | **Change password** | Current password, new password, confirmation | | **Service availability** | List of the services assigned to you. You can temporarily switch off individual ones – e.g. Opening a Safe if you don't have the tools with you right now. | | **Ringtone** | Five tones to choose from (Default, Digital, Classic, Alarm, Soft) with preview | | **Language** | The app is available in 16 languages, and push notifications also arrive in your language | | **Debug & Logs** | Technical logs, in case support asks you for them | | **Logout** | Sets you offline and logs you out | ## Internal jobs Your partner business can **assign jobs to you directly** without a customer having ordered via NODIKA – for example a regular customer, a scheduled installation or a company trip. You can recognise such internal jobs by: - an **orange notice** on the dashboard ("1 internal job waiting"), - the red counter on the **Internal jobs** menu item, - a push notification. Open the job, read the address, time window and description, and tap **Accept** or **Decline**. After that it runs like a normal job: Start driving, Arrived, Complete. ## Entering a job yourself Is there a customer in front of you who didn't order via NODIKA (e.g. a neighbour who has just approached you)? With **+ Enter Order** on the dashboard you record it yourself: choose a category, then fill out the normal order form. That way the job runs properly through NODIKA and appears in your history and in your business's billing. ## Frequently asked questions from technicians **I'm not getting any jobs even though I'm online.** Check: (1) Does it say "Connected" at the top? (2) Has location permission been granted – set to "Always" in the app? (3) Do you already have two active jobs? (4) Has your business activated the services for you and set prices? (5) Is your business's account possibly suspended? In that case every technician is automatically set offline – ask your business. **The alarm doesn't ring when the phone is locked.** Use the app instead of the browser, allow notifications and exclude the app from your phone's battery optimisation. In the browser, background alarms only work to a limited extent. **I've forgotten my password.** Your partner business can send you new login details. There is no "Forgot password" function for technicians because the business manages your access. **Can I change the price for the customer?** No. Prices are set by your business, and the customer saw them when ordering. If other items arise on site, discuss this with the customer and your business. **I was offline even though I didn't tap Offline.** Either you logged out (Logout always sets you offline), or your business's account was suspended because of an outstanding amount. In that case only your business can reactivate you by settling the amount. --- # Help for partner businesses – Technicians, prices, jobs and billing https://docs.nodika.de/en/partner.html As a partner, you bring your business onto NODIKA: you set up technicians, determine your prices and receive jobs from customers near you. This page explains the partner dashboard and everything that goes with it. ## Registration and activation 1. Open [www.nodika.de/partner-werden](https://www.nodika.de/partner-werden) and fill out the form – or go to [www.nodika.de/login](https://www.nodika.de/login) and choose "Partner or affiliate? Register here". 2. **Company name, email and password** (at least 8 characters) are required. You can enter phone, address and tax number right away or add them later. 3. Are you a **sole trader** who goes out on jobs yourself? Then tick "I'm a sole trader and do jobs myself" – you will then also be set up as a technician (see [Self-employed mode](#selbststaendigen-modus)). 4. After registering, when you log in you initially only see **"Your account is being reviewed"**. NODIKA checks your details manually and activates you. After that, the complete dashboard is open to you. The review is about the **Required documents** (e.g. Business License, trade card). Upload them in the *Documents* tab as soon as you have access – this speeds up activation. ## The partner dashboard After logging in at [www.nodika.de/partner](https://www.nodika.de/partner) you see a bar with tabs at the top: | Tab | Content | |---|---| | **Overview** | Balance, key figures, quick links, notices about internal jobs | | **Finances** | Balance, request payout, transaction history | | **Referral links** | Your own booking links and the website widget | | **Documents** | Upload required documents and see their review status | | **Internal jobs** | Assign jobs directly to your technicians | | **Phone channel** | Connect an AI phone agent to NODIKA | | **Public profile** | Your entry in the NODIKA partner directory | | **Info & terms** | Your fees and sample calculations | | **Help videos** | Nine short videos explaining the dashboard step by step | ### Overview At the very top is your **Balance** from cash payments (more on this under [Balance and thresholds](#kontostand-und-schwellenwerte)). Below that are eight **key figure cards**: Total jobs, Active, Completed, Cancelled, Revenue, Your share, Technicians (with number online) and Pending. The **quick links** lead to Manage technicians, Manage prices, Orders, Account statement, Payment methods and Notes. ## Manage technicians Under *Manage technicians* ([www.nodika.de/partner/monteurs](https://www.nodika.de/partner/monteurs)) you set up your people and keep track of them. **Adding a technician:** first name, last name, email, phone and an initial password. With **Send login details** you send the technician an email with login and a link to the app – you can repeat this at any time, for example if they have forgotten their password. For each technician you see: - the current **status** (Online, Offline, On a job, Away), - an optional **profile photo** (customers see it during selection – a friendly photo significantly increases acceptance), - the assigned **services**, - whether they may **exceed your kilometre limit** (see prices). You can **pause** technicians (they get no jobs, access remains), **activate** them again or **delete** them. Technicians cannot register themselves and cannot reset their password via "Forgot password" – that goes through you. ## Manage prices Under *Manage prices* ([www.nodika.de/partner/service-prices](https://www.nodika.de/partner/service-prices)) you set for each service: | Setting | Meaning | |---|---| | **Base fee (€)** | Your service price for the service | | **Per-km rate (€/km)** | Travel costs per kilometre that the customer pays in addition | | **Max. range (km)** | Up to what distance your technicians are offered ("No limit" possible) | | **Desired net (range)** | Guideline for what should reach you net | The prices apply to all your technicians. For some services, NODIKA specifies price ranges within which you must stay – the range is shown to you when entering prices. **Price grid:** For finer graduations (e.g. by time of day or distance) you can edit a price grid for each service. **Add-on prices:** For services with additional options (e.g. a new lock cylinder for a locked door) you enter a fixed price or a price range. Without a price, the additional option is not shown to the customer. In the end the customer sees: your service price + travel + chosen additional options = total price. ## Jobs Under *Orders* ([www.nodika.de/partner/orders](https://www.nodika.de/partner/orders)) you see all your technicians' jobs with status, customer, service, price and time. Each job has a detail page with history, chat log and payment status. Jobs come about in three ways: - A **customer orders** on nodika.de or via the widget on your website and chooses your technician. - Your **technician enters** a customer on site themselves ("+ Enter Order" in their app). - You create an **internal job** (see below). ## Finances ### Balance and account status Customers pay the technician in cash. Your business keeps the money, and NODIKA books the agreed service fee per job to your NODIKA account. This creates an **outstanding amount** that you settle regularly – by bank transfer or automatic debit via the stored payment method. Credits (e.g. affiliate commissions when a customer ordered from another business via your referral link) are offset against it. ### Balance and thresholds Your balance is shown in colour so that you can react in time: | Balance | Display | What it means | |---|---|---| | €0 or in credit | Green | Nothing outstanding | | down to −€50 | Orange | Small amount owed from cash payments | | −€50 to −€150 | Yellow | Please settle soon | | −€150 to −€200 | Red | Critical – suspension imminent | | below −€200 | Dark red | **Account suspended.** All your technicians are automatically set offline and receive no more jobs until the amount is settled. If a payment method is stored, NODIKA triggers an automatic debit. | The limit of −€200 is the default value; NODIKA can adjust it individually for your business. The current thresholds are always shown in the *Finances* tab. **Account suspended – what to do?** Transfer the amount or store a payment method and have it debited. As soon as the balance is above the limit again, your technicians can set themselves online again. ### Request payout If you have a credit balance (e.g. from commissions), you can request it in the *Finances* tab with **Request payout**: enter the amount and indicate your preferred frequency (daily, weekly, monthly) as a note. NODIKA processes payouts manually; you see the status (Pending / Paid out) and the transfer reference in the list below. ### Transaction history and account statement Every movement can be traced as a transaction – with filters by status and period: | Transaction type | Meaning | |---|---| | Service fee | Fee for a job with your own technician (debit) | | Commission credit | A customer ordered via your referral link (credit) | | Payout | Credit balance was transferred to you | | Reversal | Reversal of a fee after cancellation | | Manual adjustment | Adjustment by NODIKA, e.g. after a complaint | | Settlement | Offsetting of a billing period | Each transaction has a status (Open, Settled, Paid, Failed, Cancelled). Under *Account statement* you get documents (invoice, credit note, settlement statement) as PDF. ### Payment methods Under *Payment methods* you store an account for automatic settlement. This prevents your account from being suspended because of a forgotten amount. ## Referral links and website widget With referral links you direct your own customers – from your website, ads or business cards – to NODIKA, exactly the way you want: | Type | Who is offered to the customer | What for | |---|---|---| | **Option A – Exclusive** | Only your own technicians. If none is online, the customer is not offered anyone else. | You want to serve your customers exclusively yourself. Billing via service fee. | | **Option B – Hybrid** | Your technicians first. If none is available, all NODIKA technicians. | You want to prefer your own people but not lose any customer. You receive a commission for other businesses' technicians. | | **Option C – Marketplace** | All available NODIKA technicians, sorted by distance. | You only refer and earn a commission on every booking. | With Hybrid you can activate **"Show fallback transparently"** – the customer then sees a notice when they are passed on to another business. Without this option, they don't notice the switch. Optionally, you set a **category** so that the customer lands directly in the right form. For each link you can: **Copy**, **Embed** (ready-made code for an order form directly on your website – it automatically adapts to the page width), **Deactivate/Activate** and **Delete**. Your specific terms – service fee, platform commission and affiliate commission – are in the **Info & terms** tab, together with sample calculations for the various options. ## Documents In the *Documents* tab you see which required documents NODIKA needs from you (e.g. Business License, trade card). PDF, JPEG, PNG and WebP are allowed. After uploading, the document is **Under review**; NODIKA sets it to **Approved** or **Declined** (with a reason – then simply upload it again). Open documents are shown as a number on the tab. ## Internal jobs Not every job comes via nodika.de. With internal jobs you assign work directly to your technicians – regular customers, scheduled installations, company trips: 1. *Internal jobs* tab → **New order**. 2. Choose a technician (you see who is online and how far away), enter service, address, time window and a description. 3. The technician receives a push notification and can **accept** or **decline**. If they decline, you can choose another one. 4. After that, the job runs as usual: En route → On site → Done. On the overview you see monthly statistics (total, done, open, declined) and your most active technicians. ## Phone channel with AI Many customers prefer calling to ordering online. Via the phone channel you connect an **AI phone agent** (e.g. sipgate AI or another system that supports the MCP protocol) to NODIKA. During the call, the AI queries live which of your technicians are available, states price and arrival time and creates the job directly in NODIKA – your technician receives it in the app like any other. You decide whom the AI offers: **only your own technicians**, **Hybrid** (your own first, otherwise all – recommended) or **all technicians**. After activation you receive an access key for your phone system and step-by-step instructions directly in the tab. Never pass the key on; you can regenerate it at any time. ## Public profile Every activated partner gets an entry in the [NODIKA partner directory](https://www.nodika.de/verzeichnis) with their own profile page: logo, description, services offered, reviews and a booking form through which customers order directly from you. In the *Public profile* tab you maintain logo, text and visibility. ## Self-employed mode Are you a sole trader without a team? Then activate yourself as a technician in the *Overview* tab with **Activate as technician** (first name, last name, phone). After that you can go online in the technician app with the same account and accept jobs. You can deactivate this at any time – except while a job is in progress. ## Notes Under *Notes* you create texts that you share with your technicians – access codes, notes about regular customers, checklists. Technicians see them in their app. ## Frequently asked questions from partners **Why are all my technicians suddenly offline?** Almost always: your balance has fallen below the suspension limit. Check the *Finances* tab and settle the amount – after that, the technicians can set themselves online again. **My technician isn't getting any jobs.** Check one by one: Are they online and is the connection up? Have they granted location permission? Are services assigned to them and do these have a price? Is the customer within the maximum range? Do they already have two active jobs? **How long does activation take?** NODIKA checks registrations manually, usually within a few working days. Upload the required documents right away – that speeds it up. **Can I set different prices per technician?** No, prices apply per business and service. However, you can control per technician which services they offer and whether they may exceed your kilometre limit. **What does NODIKA cost me?** Your terms are in the *Info & terms* tab: a fixed service fee per job with your own technician, a platform commission when another business serves your customer, and a credit when a customer orders via your referral link. NODIKA adds nothing on top for end customers. **How do I embed the order form on my website?** *Referral links* tab → on a link, tap **Embed** → copy the code and paste it into your page. Orders via this form count as orders via your link. --- # Help for affiliates – Earn commission with referral links https://docs.nodika.de/en/affiliate.html Affiliates bring customers to NODIKA – via their own website, ads, social media or existing contacts – and receive a commission for every job completed that way. You don't need any technicians or a trade business for this. ## What is the difference from a partner? | | Affiliate | Partner | |---|---|---| | Own technicians | No | Yes | | Earnings | Commission per referred job | Revenue from own jobs + commission via referral links | | Referral link types | Marketplace only (all NODIKA technicians) | Exclusive, Hybrid or Marketplace | | Activation | Active immediately | Manual review by NODIKA | If you are a trade business that also wants to carry out jobs itself, register as a [partner](partner.html). ## Registration and login 1. Open [www.nodika.de/affiliate/info](https://www.nodika.de/affiliate/info) and fill out the form: name, email, password (at least 8 characters). 2. Your account is **active immediately** – there is no waiting time. 3. Later you log in at [www.nodika.de/affiliate/login](https://www.nodika.de/affiliate/login). Forgot your password? Via "Reset password" you receive a link by email (valid for one hour). ## The affiliate dashboard After logging in at [www.nodika.de/affiliate/dashboard](https://www.nodika.de/affiliate/dashboard) you see: - **Tiles**: Total balance, Open (not yet paid out), Last payout. - **Referral links**: your links with code, category, status, creation date and number of jobs. - **Commissions**: every transaction with type, job reference and amount, filterable by period. - **Settings**: payout method (Bank transfer (IBAN)), payout threshold and KYC status. - **Documents**: upload for Business License and ID. ## Creating referral links Tap **Create link**. Optionally choose a **category** (e.g. Locksmith); the customer then lands directly in the matching form. As an affiliate, you always create **Marketplace links**: the customer is offered all available NODIKA technicians near them, sorted by distance. For each link you can: - **Copy** – paste the address into your website, ad or email. - **Embed** – copy ready-made code for an order form directly on your website. The form automatically adapts to the page width. Orders through it count like clicks on your link. - **Deactivate** – the link then no longer works, but is kept together with its statistics. You can create several links – for example one per website, campaign or channel – to see what works best. ## How your commission arises 1. A customer clicks your link or uses your embedded form. For this session, NODIKA remembers that you brought them. 2. The customer orders as usual and chooses a technician. 3. As soon as the job is **completed**, your commission is calculated and credited to your balance. 4. You see it immediately in the dashboard under *Commissions* – with net, VAT and gross. **Where does the money come from?** Your commission is paid entirely out of NODIKA's share. The business carrying out the job gets its full price, and the customer doesn't pay a cent more. So you're not taking anything away from anyone – which is why partner businesses are happy about affiliate customers. The commission rate is set individually for your account; you see the standard rate during registration and your current rate in the dashboard. **There is no commission** for cancelled or expired jobs. If a job that has already been completed is cancelled afterwards, the commission is booked back as a *Reversal*. ## KYC: uploading documents Before NODIKA is allowed to pay out money, we need to know who you are. In the dashboard under *Documents*, upload your **Business License** and an **ID** (PDF, JPEG, PNG or WebP). The status changes from *Verification pending* to *Verified* – or to *Declined* with a reason; then simply upload updated documents. You already collect commissions without KYC; payouts are only made after verification. ## Payouts - Payouts are made by **Bank transfer (IBAN)** – enter your account in the settings. - Set a **payout threshold**: only when your open balance reaches this sum is a payout made. This saves you lots of small amounts. - NODIKA processes payouts manually. In the dashboard you see the status of each payout (*Pending* → *Paid out*) and the transfer reference. ## Tips for more commission - Use the **category preselection** if your site has a specific topic (e.g. a car site → Jump-start for a car). The customer saves a step. - **Embed the form directly** instead of just linking. Visitors who aren't sent away are more likely to order. - Create **one link per channel** so that you can see in the dashboard where your jobs come from. - Explain the core promise to your visitors: price visible upfront, live tracking, no phone call needed. ## Frequently asked questions from affiliates **Do I need a registered business?** For payouts, NODIKA requires a Business License as part of the KYC check. Commissions are not paid out without this check. **How long is a customer attributed to me?** For the current session – i.e. if they order after clicking your link without leaving the site in between. That's why the embedded form is worthwhile. **Do I also get commission if the customer chooses a different technician than the first one?** Yes. What matters is that the job came about via your link and was completed – regardless of which technician carries it out. **Can I give preference to my own technicians?** No, that's only possible as a partner with the Exclusive or Hybrid link types. If you have a business, register as a partner – there you can do both. **Can I see who ordered?** You see the job reference, the amount and the time – no personal customer data. --- # Frequently asked questions about NODIKA https://docs.nodika.de/en/faq.html The most important questions at a glance. You'll find detailed explanations on the pages for the individual roles: [Customer](kunde.html), [Technician](monteur.html), [Partner](partner.html), [Affiliate](affiliate.html). ## General ### What is NODIKA? NODIKA is an online booking platform for emergency services. On nodika.de, customers order a technician near them in just a few steps – with the price upfront and live tracking. The technicians belong to vetted trade businesses (partners) who set their own prices. ### Which services does NODIKA arrange? Currently Locksmith (door opening, broken key, vehicle, bicycle lock and safe opening) and Jump-start for a car (petrol and diesel cars, diesel trucks). More categories will follow as soon as enough partner businesses have registered for them. ### Where is NODIKA available? The current focus is on Berlin and the surrounding area. Whether a technician is available depends on who is online nearby at the moment – you see this directly when ordering. Partner businesses from all over Germany can register. ### Is NODIKA an app or a website? Both. Customers order via the website nodika.de without installing anything. Technicians use the NODIKA Technician app for Android and iOS (or the browser). Partners and affiliates work in the browser dashboard. ### How does NODIKA make money? Through fees charged to partner businesses: a fixed service fee per job with their own technician and a platform commission when a partner's customer is served by another business. End customers pay no surcharge – the price they see is the business's price. ## For customers ### Do I have to register to order? No. For an order we only need your address, your name and your phone number so that the technician can reach you. ### Do I see the price before I order? Yes. Service price, travel costs and any additional options are shown for every technician before you order. The total price is the amount you pay at the end. ### How do I pay? Currently in cash to the technician on site. After completion, you confirm the payment on the job page. ### What happens if the technician doesn't respond? The chosen technician has 45 seconds. If they don't respond or decline, you automatically return to the selection and choose another one – your details are kept. ### Can I cancel the job? Yes, as long as it has not been completed – via the "Cancel job" button on the job page. Choose a reason and confirm. ### How do I reach the technician? On the job page there is a chat and a Call button as soon as the technician has accepted. ### Will my door be damaged when it is opened? A door that has slammed shut but is not locked is usually opened without drilling. With a locked door, the lock cylinder usually has to be drilled out and replaced – the door itself remains undamaged. ### No technician is shown – why? Then nobody near you is online at the moment. Check whether the address was recognised correctly and try again in a few minutes. ## For technicians ### How do I get access? From your partner business. Technicians cannot register themselves – the business sets you up and sends you login details by email. ### Where do I download the app? The NODIKA Technician app is available in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Alternatively, you can log in in the browser at nodika.de/monteur/login – but the app is the better choice because of push notifications and background location. ### I'm not getting any jobs even though I'm online. Check: Is the connection up ("Connected")? Location permission granted, set to "Always" in the app? Already two active jobs? Services and prices set up by your business? Is your business's account possibly suspended? ### How many jobs can I have at the same time? Two. The second goes into the queue until you have completed the first. After that you are offered to new customers again. ### I've forgotten my password. Your partner business can send you new login details. There is no "Forgot password" function for technicians. ### Why was I suddenly offline? Either you logged out, or your business's account was suspended because of an outstanding amount. In that case only the business can reactivate you by settling the amount. ### Can I switch off individual services? Yes, under Settings → Service availability. Handy if you don't have a particular tool with you right now. ### Can I change the ringtone? Yes, under Settings → Ringtone you can choose from five tones with preview. ## For partner businesses ### How do I become a partner? Register at nodika.de/partner-werden with company name, email and password. NODIKA checks your details and required documents manually and activates you. ### How long does activation take? Usually a few working days. Upload the required documents (e.g. Business License) right away in the Documents tab – that speeds up the review. ### What does NODIKA cost partners? A fixed service fee per job with your own technician, a platform commission when another business serves your customer, and a credit when a customer orders via your referral link. Your specific terms are in the dashboard under Info & terms. ### How do I add a technician? Dashboard → Manage technicians → enter first name, last name, email, phone, initial password → Add. With "Send login details" they receive an email with login and app link. ### How do I set prices? Dashboard → Manage prices. For each service: base fee, per-km rate and maximum range. The prices apply to all your technicians; NODIKA specifies ranges for some services. ### Why are all my technicians offline? Almost always the balance has fallen below the suspension limit (default −€200). Check the Finances tab and settle the amount – after that, the technicians can go online again. ### What do the balance thresholds mean? Down to −€50: small outstanding amount; down to −€150: request to settle; down to −€200: critical; below −€200 the account is suspended and all technicians automatically go offline. If a payment method is stored, an automatic debit is then made. ### What are referral links? Your own booking links for your website or advertising. With Option A (Exclusive) customers only get your technicians, with Option B (Hybrid) yours first and otherwise all, with Option C (Marketplace) all NODIKA technicians. For other businesses' technicians via your link you receive a commission. ### How do I embed the order form on my website? Referral links tab → Embed → copy the code and paste it into your page. The form adapts automatically. ### What are internal jobs? Jobs that you assign directly to one of your technicians – without a customer order via nodika.de. For example regular customers or scheduled installations. The technician receives a push message and accepts or declines. ### What is the phone channel? A connection between an AI phone agent (e.g. sipgate AI) and NODIKA. Customers call, the AI checks live which of your technicians are available and creates the job directly. ### I'm a sole trader – do I still need a partner account? Yes. Register as a partner and tick "I'm a sole trader" (or activate yourself as a technician later in the dashboard). Then you can accept jobs in the technician app with the same account. ## For affiliates ### What is an affiliate at NODIKA? A referrer who brings customers to NODIKA via referral links or an embedded form and receives a commission for every completed job – without their own technicians. ### How do I become an affiliate? Register at nodika.de/affiliate/info with name, email and password. The account is active immediately. ### Where does the commission come from? From NODIKA's share. The business carrying out the job gets its full price, and the customer doesn't pay more. ### When is the payout made? By Bank transfer (IBAN), as soon as your open balance has reached the payout threshold you set and your KYC documents (Business License, ID) have been verified. NODIKA processes payouts manually. ### Is there commission for cancelled jobs? No. Only completed jobs count. If a job is cancelled afterwards, the commission is booked back. ## Privacy and account ### How do I change my password? Partners and affiliates: after logging in at nodika.de/settings. Technicians: in the app under Settings → Change password. Forgot your password? Partners and affiliates use "Reset password" on the login page; technicians contact their business. ### Can I export my data or delete my account? Yes. Partners and affiliates find the data export (Art. 20 GDPR) and account deletion (Art. 17 GDPR) at nodika.de/settings. Completed jobs and billing data are retained for legal reasons. ### Who sees my data as a customer? Only the technician carrying out your job and their business – name, address and phone number, so that they can find you and reach you. Details are in the [Privacy policy](https://www.nodika.de/datenschutz).
